Senior DevOps Engineer (Setka)

As we are about to publicly launch our platform, we are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and network and infrastructure security. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automation, scalability, and reliability, and will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Optimize and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain network and infrastructure security.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of services.
• Configure and optimize databases for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar, with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
• Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Yandex.Cloud, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with implementing and managing network and infrastructure security, certificate and secret management (e.g. HashiCorp Vault).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience with database configuration and optimisation for performance and reliability.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across all infrastructure components.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and runbooks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure.
