The IT company Andersen invites a Ruby Developer to join its team for working with a company from Saudi Arabia.
The customer is a holding company in the labour market in Saudi Arabia, operating under the Ministry of Labor. It leads the socio-economic transformation for individuals, society, and the economy by creating unique solutions to fulfil everyone's needs.
This project aims to verify that professional workers possess the qualifications and skills required to perform their jobs in Saudi Arabia, which contributes to raising the quality of skill levels in the labor market and raising productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Collaborating with the team to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Integrating third-party APIs and services.
- Implementing security and data protection measures.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues.
- Optimizing application performance and scalability.
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensuring code quality through different types of testing and continuous integration.
Must-haves:
- Commercial experience as a Ruby Developer for 3+ years.
- Experience with integrating payment gateways both synchronously and asynchronously.
- Ability to develop code in a SOA fashion.
- Fluent with utilizing and developing web service APIs.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational database structures.
- Strong understanding of software architecture techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
Nice-to-have:
- Ability to present to all levels of staff and leadership.
