Hardware Installation Engineer

The Hardware Installer will work within a designated territory in Russia but can also expect some travel within the RCA region, it is estimated that each site install will take up to 4 weeks, overall travel is high, in the region of up to 80%. In this challenging position, you will install our radiotherapy equipment at our customers facilities & work directly with the end user during installation and acceptance.

Responsibilities:

• Executes installation works or guides them.
• Processes the change request management at site and makes the "as-built" entries in the construction documents.
• Schedules the installation works for a technical discipline (time schedule, resource planning, material, tools, etc.).
• May lead the installation staff in functional matters.
• May control the execution of the implementation of sub-disciplines and/or provide supervisory / advisory guidance at site.
• Install / Upgrade our Oncology Hardware Solutions according at our customers including validating the solution is ready for use for our customers to treat patients
• Onsite installation of 3-4 weeks in one go for Linear Accelerators according to technical documentation & guidelines provided to ensure the machine install properly
• Provides highly visible performance for on-site installation as well as diagnosis, troubleshooting, service and repair of high-tech complex systems,
• Connect our Radiation Treatment devices to our Oncology Software Solutions
• Perform and document the work completed according to Quality Management Systems
• Help ensure we always meet agreed target dates for customers to treat patients on installation and upgrade work
• Independently trouble shooting one-off technical problem with minimal assistance
• Escalate discrepancy in trouble shooting process and/or procedures
• Suggest or provide direct input to specialist for process/product improvement
• Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies & procedures to resolve issues
• Checks out and approves the operational quality of systems & machines after installations,
• Conduct Acceptance testing to ensure that all product specifications are met with the highest quality and in timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate of a Technical Institute or University in electronics, electrical / biomedical engineering or related fields or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of and sound professional technical experience with mechanics and PC based systems.
• Sound knowledge of processes and methods such as product specification, product developments / expansions and product security and safety plus professional experience of electronic and mechanical testing equipment used for verification, checkout and calibration of VMS products.
• Fluency in English language, both written and spoken;
• Readiness to business trips.

• Experience working at Hardware Installation Engineer from Medical Devices company (desirable).
