Now we are looking for an experienced DB Administrator with expertise in MySQL.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure performance and security of high-load server and network infrastructure.
- Propose databases enhancements, design effective solutions, execute data migration, replication, and implement new functionality.
- Oversee and optimise data backups for reliability and recoverability.
- Maintain databases, monitor and respond to alerts, manage recovery, table space, and upgrades.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems (Debian, Ubuntu).
- 3+ years of experience with databases for large-scale systems.
- Experience with MySQL (Percona, MariaDB). Familiarity with Postgres, MongoDB will be an advantage
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL.
- Experience with Ansible configurations.
- Open-minded, ready for new challenges, and collaborative in a distributed team environment.
