DevOps Engineer (Azure) (Abu Dhabi)

The IT company Andersen invites a DevOps Engineer (Azure) in Abu Dhabi to join its team for working with a company from UAE.

The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Technology stack: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Oracle, SonarQube, CI/CD, Microservices, Distributed Architecture, Automation Tools, Cloud Management Tools.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing system integrations between internal and third-party applications.
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Monitoring infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Utilizing Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS/Azure DevOps for system automation.

Must-have:

• Experience as a System Engineer (DevOps) for 3+ years.
• Hands-on experience with software deployment and orchestration technologies e.g., Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with continuous services like GitLab.
• Work experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Oracle.
• Deep understanding of microservices and distributed architecture.
• Ability to work in a DevOps mindset by following CI/CD principles.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
• Experience in SonarQube integration for static code analysis.
• Experience working with Automation tools, Cloud management tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate core concepts to executives, IT management, and developers.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
