Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.
SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It's a third-person beat'em'up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.
This project represents a new ambitious challenge for the company as it marks our first game for both PC and consoles.
Responsibilities:
- Working with animation tools within Unreal Engine (Control Rig, Anim Blueprint, Motion Matching).
- Setting up and configuring Control Rig and AnimGraph nodes (CCDIK, FABRIK, Two Bone IK, Orientation Warping, Stride Warping, Foot Placement, etc.).
- Creating Metahuman animations.
- Configuring Locomotion in animation blueprints.
- Working with Maya. Experience with Cascadeur is a bonus.
- Integrating/tuning animations into the Unreal game project.
- Developing/configuring animation systems in Unreal Engine 5.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the animation pipeline
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience working with Unreal Engine and Maya
- Ability to write technical documentation
Would be a plus:

At least 1 year of animation experience in any 3D package (preferably with a released project).
