Infrastructure Engineer (Internal)

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, develop, and automate infrastructure solutions for the Internal Services team, including observability, high availability (HA), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. This includes documentation and performance tuning;

• Develop and support roles and modules for IaC;
• Deliver effective monitoring and fail-safe solutions (HA, Disaster Recovery Plans) for Internal services;
• Support and scale the company's internal open-source and enterprise services, such as:

Proxies, DNS, caches, gateways, etc.
Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and ELK stack.
GitLab, Nexus, Jira, Confluence, and NetBox;

• Identify ways to ensure all critical internal services are multi-data center (multi-DC) and truly fault-tolerant;
• Enhance monitoring capabilities to scale internal services in a timely manner and proactively detect issues;
• Propose new solutions that address challenges faced by other teams and simplify their workflows.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Python, Ansible, Nginx and Prometheus;
• Experience in supporting production high-availability services and working with open-source solutions;
• Experience as an administrator for GitLab, Jira, and Confluence;
• Knowledge of deploying and maintaining production-grade observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and tracing.
