Updater in US trucking company

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and track loads from pickup to delivery, ensuring accurate status updates.
Communicate with drivers to gather real-time location, delays, and any issues affecting delivery schedules.
Update customers, brokers, and internal teams with load status via calls, emails, and TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s tracking system.
Proactively address any potential delays and coordinate with dispatch to find solutions.
Ensure all necessary documents (BOLs, PODs) are collected and uploaded promptly.
Collaborate with dispatch, customer service, and operations to improve efficiency and service quality.
Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to load updates.
Qualifications & Skills:
Prior experience in trucking, logistics, or a similar role preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using tracking software, TMS platforms, and Microsoft Office.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently while maintaining team coordination.
