Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.
We are looking for a Core Game Designer to work on our 2D fighting projects: Shadow Fight 2 and Shades: Shadow Fight Roguelike.
Shadow Fight 2 is a unique combination of martial arts, magic, and science fiction. The game fuses the fighting and RPG genres to make something totally out-of-the-ordinary.
Shades is the sequel to the legendary Shadow Fight 2. The game takes all the best from its predecessor, namely dynamic battles with realistic animations, and takes it to a completely new level by adding elements of Roguelike gameplay.
Responsibilities:

Develop in-game bosses, generate ideas for improving the combat system and the roguelike part of the project (ideas for new “perks”, player progression within the run).

Prototype game mechanics - develop new game modes, improve existing ones.

Create and maintain features, interact with other teams.

Balance the game, including animation data, abilities, damage, etc.

Regular play test the game.

Analyze user behavior and functionality of features based on user data (analytics / reviews / logs).
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of commercial GD experience or extensive experience with indie projects.
- Rich gaming experience in various genres, especially in roguelike and close contact combat system games (fighting games, slashers).
- Ability to communicate your ideas and understand the ideas of others.
- Experience working with Unity.
- Experience working with Git.
