Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate HR, legal, and general administrative functions in accordance with local laws and international standards;
  • Support and implement company policies, labor regulations, and internal procedures;
  • Provide legal support for operational activities, including contracts, compliance, and communication with government authorities.
  • Prepare and submit internal reports according to corporate guidelines and head office requirements;
  • Ensure compliance with internal regulations and external laws (including Russia-related sanctions);
  • Liaise with global departments on matters related to risk management, corporate policies, and legal compliance.
  • Create clear, concise presentation materials and reports in English;
  • Communicate effectively in English with internal and external stakeholders (emails, meetings, calls, and presentations).
  • Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions in collaboration with involved departments;
  • Drive improvements in workflows and procedures, enhancing operational quality and efficiency.
  • Support team development and knowledge sharing across departments;
  • Contribute to shaping the company culture during its startup phase in Kazakhstan.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English (B2–C1 level); confident in business communication and presentations;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a global company, with exposure to internal management and reporting systems;
  • Background in HR, legal, or general affairs (excluding accounting); understanding of Kazakhstani law and international standards;
  • Experience handling compliance and sanctions matters is a strong advantage;
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and collaborative problem-solving skills;
  • Proactive mindset with a spirit of innovation and team development.
