Technical Writer/ User Assistance developer

As a Technical Writer/User Assistance developer in our company, you will work with development teams across a variety of projects. You will play an important role in ensuring that our customers not only have all the information and tools they need to be successful but also improve the user experience through user assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying areas of improvement of user guidance & usability in close collaboration with the development team;

• Documenting technical topics for the developer audience as well as user assistance documents for end users;

• Driving new user assistance approaches that effectively serve customers like (interactive) graphics, animated gifs, how-to videos & social media content;

• Creating user assistance deliverables in a development team that enable users to implement, configure, and use software applications;

• Participating in software & documentation testing;

• Defining simple, consistent terminology that conforms to industry standards;

• Acting as an advocate for excellent user experience.

Requirements:

• University degree in journalism, technical writing, research, or similar;

• 1-3 years of experience in a relevant position;

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (English level -B2+);

• Knowledge of SAP services and solutions;

• Experience using CMS and CCMS systems for documentation;

• Ability to write for both technical and end users;

• Ability to work as part of a team.
