Head of Channel Activation, Central Eurasia based in Almaty.

Working under the supervision of the Head of CPD, Central Eurasia and in close collaboration with Countries’ Sales Directors, the Head of Channel Activation will take leadership over the team of trade marketing managers to increase company sales by generating specific activities for retailers through leveraging global brand positioning and category penetration.

Main accountabilities include:

  • Develop and implement the Trade Marketing strategy to contribute towards brand growth targets and cross-category business objectives
  • Lead the translation and execution of the marketing strategy into impactful retailer programmes, respecting and tracking budget and commercial targets
  • Bring field intelligence to define brand-specific activity programmes with marketing and commercial departments
  • Implement, monitor and improve processes to link all marketing activities with the activities of the commercial team
  • Recruit, develop and manage Trade Marketing team. Ensure development of expertise and know-how in the Trade Marketing team

  • 5+ years of relevant trade marketing experience
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Team management experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical acumen
  • Ability to operate in a matrix environment and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to operate independently within rapidly-changing environment
  • Good command of Excel
  • Ready to travel (~15%)
