Job Summary:
The main task of the Head of AOCC is the operational management and coordination of airport departments during the servicing of aircraft while they are at the airport, organizational support for airline flights based on their requests, providing information services to clients regarding aircraft movements, as well as the preparation and processing of waybills for the company's vehicles.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the real-time coordination of all airport operational activities within the AOCC
- Analyze causes of flight delays and cancellations; develop and implement preventive measures
- Ensure effective collection, processing, and dissemination of flight information to all relevant airport services
- Collaborate closely with airlines, ground handlers, security services, air navigation service providers, and other airport stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Organize the preparation and coordination of regular, charter, and business aviation flights
- Maintain continuous communication and alignment with stakeholders on operational matters
- Lead the AOCC response during irregular operations, emergencies, and crisis scenarios, ensuring rapid decision-making and communication
- Coordinate actions to address and prevent operational disruptions and non-conformities.
- Prepare reports and analyses on the regularity of flights and overall operational performance
- Conduct internal audits, process analyses, and develop proposals for process improvements
Required Skills and Qualification
The Head of AOCC must have:
- Secondary specialized or higher education (preferably in Aviation, Logistics, or Transport)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in airport or aviation operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and operational control systems
- Strong knowledge of airport processes, aviation safety, and occupational safety regulations
- Proven skills in operational decision-making under pressure and multitasking environments
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and within a team-oriented environment
