As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
JOB PURPOSE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide analytical support to the country team for reporting and updates
  • Coordinate preparation and filing local tax returns with Uniops and Local advisors. Approving tax returns. (CIT, VAT, WHT, TP, Payroll taxes, National&Statistic reports etc.)
  • Support the collection and organization of financial documents needed for tax reporting and coordinate with internal departments (finance, marketing, sales, R2R etc) to gather necessary data for tax filings.
  • Provide support during tax audits, including preparing documentation and responding to tax authorities’ inquiries.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact on the business.
  • Maintain organized records to facilitate audit processes.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to tax provision, tax liabilities, and other tax-related financial data including preparation of tax-related disclosures in financial statements.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in managing the relationship with tax authorities and respond to inquiries when necessary.
  • Issue ESF invoices for customers in ESF Portal of Kazakhstan
  • Analyze budget variances monthly, identifying and addressing root causes.
  • Assist Export Finance Manager in monthly and daily routines/tasks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience especially in tax, finance, controlling or financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, engineering or any related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Russian, Kazakh and English. (Turkish is preferred)
  • Good understanding of financial processes and operations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Excel skills with knowledge of SAP or other ERP system.
  • Knowledge and experience of local tax legislations and regulations together with Global Financial Control Framework (GFCF)
  • Proactive approach to task management and self-development
  • Self-driven and strong in execution
  • Demonstrated success in management of multiple projects & competing priorities in a time sensitive environment.
