Andersen is hiring a Project Manager for a global travel payment provider. The role focuses on managing a secure platform that streamlines transactions, reduces costs, and evolves with new payment methods.
The customer is a global corporate travel payment solution owned and operated by the world’s leading airlines. Its network includes major carriers that issue charge cards accepted by thousands of travel-related merchants worldwide, covering air, rail, cruise, and agency payments. The platform also enables airlines to accept multiple payment methods, including alternatives, via integrated processing partners within the customer’s network.
The project is centered on a proprietary payment platform that ensures secure transactions, centralized billing, detailed reporting, and advanced analytics. It focuses on reducing processing costs, streamlining expense management, and continuously evolving through new payment methods and AI-driven enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing initiatives, ensuring smooth project execution and delivery.
- Actively participating in and facilitating Scrum ceremonies on the client side.
- Aligning with the client on goals, priorities, scope, and deadlines.
- Providing clear and structured project reporting and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
- Managing stakeholders at different levels, ensuring effective communication and timely updates to all parties involved.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the client, handling escalations and resolving conflicts related to process transparency and performance.
- Proactively identifying and eliminating bottlenecks and impediments.
- Owning and updating the project roadmap and other strategic documentation.
- Mentoring and guiding less experienced team members when needed.
Must-haves: - Experience as a Project Manager for 3+ years.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with the Scrum framework.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders across complex, cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, strategic mindset, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- High stress tolerance, ability to work under pressure, and strong multitasking skills.
- Level of English – Advanced.
