Ваш опыт и навыки:

• Более 5 лет опыта в разработке программного обеспечения, из которых 2+ года руководства людьми, при этом вы напрямую отвечали за рост и развитие инженеров.
• Успешный опыт в найме, адаптации и наставничестве талантов.
• Глубокие знания гибких методологий разработки, планирования проектов и распределения ресурсов.
• Опыт управления бюджетами, со стратегическим подходом к согласованию технических ресурсов с бизнес-целями.
• Отличные навыки работы с командой, разрешения конфликтов и создания поддерживающей корпоративной культуры.
• Технологический стек: Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI), GraphQL (Graphene, Alchemy), базы данных (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Docker, Kubernetes, React и другие сторонние API.

About the Role

As an Engineering Manager at Zentist, you are the architect of your team's

success and the catalyst for their impact. Your leadership ensures that our

pioneering technical solutions are delivered reliably, creating a seamless

experience for dental offices across the country. You will build, coach, and

empower a high-performing team to tackle complex challenges, while you clear

the path for them to do their best work.

You come to us with

• Over 5 years of experience in software development and 2+ years in a

dedicated people leadership role, where you were directly responsible for the

growth and performance of engineers.

• A proven track record of recruiting, hiring, and onboarding exceptional talent,

and a passion for coaching engineers to achieve their career goals through

Engineering Manager 1thoughtful 1:1s and performance management.

• Expertise in owning and optimizing agile development processes, with a focus

on predictability, efficiency, and removing impediments to delivery.

• A strong history of partnering with Product Managers to facilitate project

planning, prioritization, and resource allocation, ensuring the team is always

working on the most valuable initiatives.

• Experience in managing operational budgets and cloud costs, with a keen eye

for aligning technical resources with business goals.

• A commitment to fostering a team culture and the skill to navigate team

dynamics, resolve conflicts, and manage underperformance with empathy and

clarity.

Our teams currently use Python 3.x, Flask, DJango and FastAPI in different

subsystems, Graphene, Alchemy, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, K8s, PlayWright,

PyTest, React and various 3rd party APIs.

About Zentist

Dental insurance plans are notoriously complicated. Policy agreements are

difficult for consumers to understand and for providers to service and manage.

We started Zentist because we believe neither consumers nor providers should

struggle with the complexity of understanding and utilizing dental plans. At

Zentist, we are developing billing technology between dental providers and

insurance companies that abstracts away all the complexity of billing and

collecting insurance.

We’re located in San Francisco and we’re backed by leading investment firms

including Costanoa Ventures, Point Nine Capital, and Fika Ventures. We would like

to build our core team at a foundational point in the company to help us build a

category-defining product for the long-term.
