Duties:
— Analyze and resolve complex legal issues related to transactions, operations, and corporate governance; develop compliance-oriented solutions.
— Monitor legislative updates and regulatory changes in Uzbekistan, interpret their impact on the company, and provide timely compliance recommendations.
— Lead the handling of corporate disputes, claims, and government inspections.
— Oversee the company’s legal compliance framework: identify compliance risks, conduct in-depth risk analysis, prepare and provide internal legal trainings, and share updates on legal practices and regulatory trends.
— Manage day-to-day legal matters and support internal departments on legal inquiries.
Requirements:
— Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
— Social Recruitment: at least 3 years of experience in a law firm or relevant corporate legal role.
— Strong understanding of Civil Code, International Business Law, Private International Law, Labor Code, Corporate Law, Cybersecurity Law, Personal Data Protection Law.
— Knowledge of IP Law, Licensing Law, Administrative Law, Tax Law, Finance Law, Customs Law is an advantage.
— Fluency in English, Russian, and Uzbek (written and spoken).
— Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and structured legal thinking.
— Ability to work in an international environment and build effective cross-functional cooperation.
— Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working under pressure and in fast-paced settings.
— Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and similar tools.
— High professional ethics, responsibility, and commitment to confidentiality.
Work Conditions:
- Work in the Tashkent office, near Oybek metro station.
- Working hours: 9: 00-18: 00 (lunch break 12: 30-13: 30).
- Working days: Monday - Friday (5/7)
- Days off: Saturday, Sunday.
- Probation period: 3 months.
- Working language: English (spoken English proficiency required; the interview will be conducted in English).
