Henkel is looking for a HR Junior Specialist to join our team in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across recruitment, employer branding, and HR administration while contributing to the success of a global company.

What you´ll do:

Recruitment:

- Assist in defining job requirements and support hiring managers in their recruitment efforts.

- Write and post job descriptions on job platforms (HH.kz, Enbek.kz).

- Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn, HH, and other professional networks.

- Assess candidates’ experience, skills, and cultural fit with the company.

- Conduct initial phone screenings as well as in-person/online interviews.

- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other team members.

- Support candidates in understanding the company culture, job expectations, and compensation packages.

- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.

- Provide timely feedback to candidates after interviews and assessments.

- Work with Henkel’s ATS systems to manage recruitment processes.

Employer Branding:

- Assist in building the company`s employer brand by attending job fairs, university recruitment events, internal HR projects and other outreach activities.

- Collaborate with career centers of target universities and student organizations, organizing guest lectures, office visits, mock interviews, case championships, and other employer branding activities.

- Create visuals and content for social media, ensuring consistent communication of the company’s values and culture.

- Maintain external communications about the company and its corporate culture.

- Manage the company’s internal corporate newsletter, sharing the latest updates and news with employees.

- Support other Employer Branding and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and projects.

HR Administration:

- Handle full-cycle HR documentation and maintain accurate records.

- Prepare official letters and distribute documents to regional offices.

- Support voluntary medical insurance (DMS) processes.

- Assist with bonus calculations and provision distribution.

- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and documentation.

- Create purchase orders, manage closing documents, and upload legal agreements in internal systems.

What makes you a good fit:

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field with a strong GPA.

- Minimum 1 year of HR experience (preferably in FMCG).

- Available to work offline on-site (40 hours per week, 8 hours per day).

- Interested in a career in Human Resources.

- English - Upper-Intermediate.

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

- Highly self-motivated, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
