We are looking for a proactive Engineering Manager with a solid technical background to join our team. This role focuses on managing development resources across projects, supporting pre-sales activities, and ensuring smooth collaboration between clients, engineers, recruiters, and the internal team. Unlike a traditional PM role, this position is not about managing timelines - it’s about staffing decisions, technical clarity, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Join sales calls and technical interviews to represent the engineering perspective;

  • Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and expectations;

  • Evaluate project status from a technical standpoint and ensure overall client satisfaction;

  • Identify opportunities for additional services, increased staffing, or technical improvements (upsell / cross-sell);

  • Recommend the right engineers for ongoing and new projects and validate the technical fit;

  • Provide high-level technical guidance and help clients shape their roadmap and team structure;

  • Participate in technical pre-sales together with the Sales team and support solution preparation;

  • Handle technical escalations and ensure issues are resolved efficiently;

  • Work closely with developers, recruiters, and management to maintain clarity and alignment across projects;

  • Provide internal updates on client status, team performance, risks, and resourcing needs.

    Requirements:

  • Proven experience in resource management, delivery support or technical leadership in IT;
  • Strong technical background (developer, team/tech lead) in IT company;
  • Strong communication skills to interact with both developers and clients;
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with recruiters, sales, and technical team;
  • Proactive and people-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills;
  • Good English level (B2 or higher) for client communication.
