De Montfort University Kazakhstan is seeking a proactive and results-driven Corporate Relations Manager to develop and manage partnerships with corporate partners, employers, and industry representatives. The role focuses on strengthening employer engagement, supporting student employability, and building long-term collaborations that benefit both the University and its partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local and international companies, employers, and industry organizations
  • Identify new corporate partners for internships, graduate employment, sponsorships, and collaborative projects
  • Organize and coordinate employer engagement activities, including career fairs, employer presentations, workshops, and networking events
  • Act as the main point of contact between the University and corporate partners
  • Promote students and graduates to employers and support placement and internship opportunities
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, memorandums and sponsorship arrangements. If necessary — reissue of a memorandum with existing partners
  • Maintain accurate records of partnerships and employer engagement activities
  • Work closely with Student Development and Admissions departments and Marketing team to align corporate relations strategy with university objectives
  • Prepare regular reports on partnership activities, outcomes
  • On a weekly basis, plan a schedule of phone calls, contact with customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in corporate relations, business development, partnerships, recruitment, or employer engagement
  • Strong network within corporate / business community is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in organizing events and managing external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Fluency in Kazakh, Russian and English (written and spoken) is required
