System Analyst (banking experience)

Andersen is hiring a System Analyst to work on mobile banking and web solutions and support secure, scalable digital products within a global analytics team.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting, analyzing, and formalizing requirements for a mobile banking application (iOS, Android, HarmonyOS) and a web-based admin panel.
• Developing functional and technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Modeling business processes and logic (BPMN, UML, flowcharts).
• Describing architecture and integrations: mobile apps, admin panel, API Gateway, microservices, databases/Data Lake.
• Collaborating with product, architecture, development, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Conducting interviews, workshops, and requirement clarification sessions with stakeholders.
• Creating and managing the backlog, participating in roadmap and release planning.
• Preparing regulatory documentation and ensuring compliance with PCI DSS, GDPR, and PSD2.
• Analyzing KPIs, metrics, and product quality, participating in monitoring and continuous improvements.
• Supporting testing activities and validating the implementation of requirements.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a System Analyst in the banking or fintech domain for 5+ years.
• Strong understanding of banking products and processes: cards, accounts, loans, payments, transfers, card tokenization, and wallets.
• Experience integrating banking and external systems (SWIFT, ERP, currency control, third-party providers).
• Experience working with microservice architecture and API-first solutions (REST, gRPC, event-driven).
• Strong skills in gathering and formalizing requirements, creating specifications, user stories, and process diagrams.
• Experience modeling business processes and data flows (BPMN, UML, ERD, C4, SIPOC).
• Knowledge of business analysis and data tools (SQL, databases).
• Experience working with mobile (iOS, Android, HarmonyOS) and web interfaces (Web UI/React).
• Understanding of infrastructure and DevOps processes (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Keycloak, Vault).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban teams.
• Proficiency with tools: Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, Excel.
• Strong systemic and analytical thinking, with the ability to align business goals with technical constraints.
• Excellent communication skills, proactivity, and attention to detail, including security and regulatory requirements.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

• AWS certifications.
