About the Project

We are building a scalable AI-driven SaaS product and are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to take ownership of backend architecture, data systems, and AI integration.

This is a high-impact role for someone who is comfortable designing systems from the ground up and making key technical decisions.

The engagement starts as a project-based collaboration (20 hours per week). After successful delivery of Phase 1, the role transitions into a full-time long-term position.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable backend systems for a SaaS product

• Design robust and efficient data architecture

• Integrate AI/ML models into production environments

• Optimize performance, reliability, and security

• Implement and maintain DevOps processes (CI/CD, deployment, infrastructure)

• Own technical decisions and backend roadmap

Required Experience

• English is essintial, we need at least stable B2 level. Team is international

• 5+ years of backend development experience

• Proven experience building and scaling SaaS products

• Strong hands-on experience with Rust

• Practical experience integrating AI/ML systems into production

• Deep understanding of data architecture and system design

• Solid knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure

• Proficient with WebGPU

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership

• Experience in early-stage or fast-scaling startups
