Senior / Lead Software Engineer / AI-Driven Development

We are looking for a Senior Engineer who is excited about pushing the boundaries of how software is built. This role is focused on AI-driven development: exploring how modern AI tools and approaches can transform the entire development lifecycle. You will work in a small experimental team (2 engineers) running a parallel innovation track (at least for 6 months) alongside an established development team of 12 engineers working on a large production system.

The goal of this initiative is to rethink and evolve the software development process using AI, gradually covering all stages of the lifecycle: from requirements and architecture to coding, testing and delivery. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, experimenting with new tools and building practical solutions where best practices are still emerging.

Responsibilities

• Explore and implement AI-driven approaches across the entire software development lifecycle.

• Experiment with AI tools for:

  • requirements and specification generation
  • architecture and design
  • code generation and refactoring
  • automated testing
  • documentation
  • developer productivity
• Work closely as a small team of two engineers as part of a focused innovation track.
• Build prototypes and real implementations that can later be adopted by the wider engineering team.
• Evaluate emerging AI tooling and determine practical ways to integrate it into development workflows.
• Help define best practices for AI-assisted development.
• Share findings and improvements with the broader engineering organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience designing, building and shipping production systems.
• Comfortable working with uncertain or exploratory problems.
• Ability to independently investigate new technologies and approaches.
• Strong engineering judgment and practical mindset.
• Curiosity about how AI can transform software engineering.
• AI experience is not required, but interest in the space is important.
• English: conversational level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with some of the following technologies: Go, Vue, PostgreSQL, DevOps / infrastructure / CI/CD, Distributed systems, Broad full-stack development experience.
