ROLE TITLE: Integrated Risk Team lead

DEPARTMENT: Risk Department

REPORTS TO: Global CRO

LOCATION: Barcelona, Spain

ROLE PURPOSE:

- As the Team Lead of the provision calculations stream, you will play a critical role in managing and improving the efficiency of IFRS 9 provisioning processes across the company

- You will be responsible for provision forecasting, budgeting, portfolio risk analysis, and supporting official risk reporting for management needs

- The position is highly collaborative, working closely with finance teams, auditors, and cross-country stakeholders

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the process of IFRS9 (МСФО9) provision calculations across multiple regions (EU & LatAm)

- Own and oversee provision forecasting and budgeting processes

- Prepare and validate data for external and internal audits

- Coordinate and support the preparation of official risk reports

- Ensure the integrity and consistency of risk metrics (e.g. PD, LGD, transition matrices, COR, RR)

- Collaborate closely with Finance, Data, and Risk teams across regions

- Contribute to automation and optimization of provisioning workflows

- Support model development and monitoring initiatives where applicable

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

- Advanced SQL (required) and MS Excel (required)

- Solid understanding of IFRS 9 for retail loan portfolios

- Strong analytical skills in portfolio and risk analysis

- Experience with official risk reporting standards

- Hands-on experience working with financial statements and audit requirements

- Experience with Tableau or other BI tools (a plus)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in provisioning/risk analytics for retail lending

- Successful track record of passing IFRS / МСФО audits with global auditors (Big 4 preferred)

- English: Intermediate level or above (working proficiency)

- Knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements (a strong plus)

- Familiarity with both EU and Latin American markets (a plus)
