Senior Lawyer

A representative of a major oil and gas operator in the Republic of Uzbekistan is building a legal team and seeking a Senior Lawyer.

Purpose of the Position

Providing legal support for key areas of the company's activities, including contractual work, compliance, and foreign economic activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing, negotiating, and conducting legal due diligence of contracts.
• Supporting the company's contractual work.
• Participating in compliance matters.
• Providing legal support for foreign economic activity.
• Preparing legal opinions and consultations for businesses.
• Communicating with internal departments and external consultants.
• Participating in minimizing the company's legal risks.

Qualification Requirements

• Higher legal education.
• Substantial practical experience in contractual work, compliance, and foreign economic activity support.
• Experience working in a corporate environment, preferably in the oil and gas, energy, or international sectors.
• Proficiency in English and Russian at least at a working level is desirable.
