Technical Product Manager / Web Project Manager for Custom PHP Automotive Marketplace

We are looking for a highly responsible and experienced Technical Product Manager / Web Project Manager to take ownership of our website improvement and redevelopment project.

Our website is a custom PHP platform in the automotive/export industry. It already has many functions, but we now need a skilled person who can take responsibility, understand the business, identify issues, plan improvements properly, and manage the right people to execute them.

This is not just a task-following role. We need someone who can think, lead, organize, solve problems, and make sure things get done properly.

What we need help with

• Review and assess our current custom PHP website
• Identify bugs, technical issues, weak points, and outdated parts
• Help decide whether to improve the current system or redevelop parts of it
• Plan and structure the website to meet modern technical requirements
• Make sure the website is scalable, user-friendly, mobile-friendly, and SEO-friendly
• Improve or build a system that allows us to create more static SEO pages easily
• Help define proper UI/UX specifications
• Coordinate CRM integrations and other needed third-party integrations
• Prepare clear technical tasks for developers and designers
• Hire or recommend the right developers, UI/UX specialists, SEO specialists, or other experts when needed
• Supervise execution and make sure quality is high
• Solve issues proactively instead of waiting for instructions
• Take ownership and responsibility for delivery

Our ideal candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• has strong experience with custom-built websites, preferably PHP-based platforms
• understands technical project management, product thinking, and business needs
• can communicate clearly with developers, designers, and business owners
• understands UI/UX, technical SEO, website architecture, scalability, and integrations
• can write clear requirements, documentation, and technical tasks
• is proactive, detail-oriented, responsible, and solution-focused
• can spot risks early and suggest the best path forward
• ideally has experience with eCommerce, marketplaces, automotive platforms, or large inventory websites

Important

We do not want someone who only manages timelines.
We need someone who can actually understand the product, take ownership, solve problems, and drive the whole process.

You should be comfortable doing things such as:

• translating business needs into technical requirements
• reviewing current structure and proposing better architecture
• finding the right specialists when needed
• making sure developers do the work correctly
• improving both functionality and overall product quality
