Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Own the annual budget process and long-term financial forecasts.
- Provide financial advisory to the executive team and board on investment cases, M&A, and capital allocation.
- Define the Group's financial strategy including cost management and margin improvement initiatives.
Accounting & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting — monthly P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Manage external audits and regulatory financial filings.
- Oversee tax strategy and compliance across all entities and jurisdictions.
Finance Operations
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
- Oversee treasury and capital management.
- Maintain financial systems and controls.
General focus of responsibilities:
Strategic
- Own the annual budget process and long-term financial forecasts.
- Provide financial advisory to the executive team and board on investment cases, M&A, and capital allocation with rapid analysis.
- Define the Group's financial strategy including cost management and margin improvement through process automation.
- Evaluate financial technology and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
Operational
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting — monthly P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Manage external audits and regulatory financial filings on schedule.
- Oversee tax strategy and compliance across all entities and jurisdictions.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee treasury and capital management.
- Maintain financial systems, controls, and data integrity.
Leadership
- Lead the finance function and develop financial management capabilities across the Group.
- Advise the executive team and board on financial risk, cash flow, and capital adequacy.
- Make high-impact decisions on financial strategy, investment allocation, and cost management.
- Promote a culture of financial discipline and proactive cost management across the organisation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within a financial services, investment, or regulated environment.
- Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and investment evaluation, including M&A and capital allocation.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, audit processes, and multi-jurisdictional tax and regulatory compliance (experience in Cyprus/EU is a strong advantage).
- Hands-on experience with treasury management, cash flow optimization, and financial controls in a multi-entity structure.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive financial strategy, implement process automation, and influence executive and board-level decision-making.
