Chief Accountant

Job responsibilities.

• Managing and overseeing daily accounting operations
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with applicable standards (e.g. IFRS, GAAP)
• Ensuring accuracy and integrity of all financial records
• Coordinating month-end and year-end closing processes
• Managing tax reporting and compliance
• Supervising accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions
• Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls and accounting procedures

  Qualification requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant (or in a similar position)
• Proficiency in English at a professional level
• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
