Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel property.
• Ensure all hotel facilities, equipment, utilities, and systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other engineering systems.
• Monitor and maintain building safety, fire protection systems, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate repair and maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions and ensure guest comfort.
• Supervise engineering staff, contractors, and external service providers.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, engineering reports, and operational documentation.
• Control engineering expenses, maintenance budgets, and inventory of tools and spare parts.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding maintenance requests and operational support.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance operations, preferably in hotel or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and technical operations.
• Familiar with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and utility management systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and operational standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian
• Demonstrates responsibility, integrity, and strong attention to detail.
