A large international company is seeking a Head of Government Relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a government relations strategy aligned with business priorities
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments, assess their impact, and advise senior management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, regulators, and industry associations
- Coordinate and support projects involving government stakeholders, including public initiatives, incentive programs, and regulatory processes
- Identify regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on government-related matters

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Economics, or a related field
- Mandatory prior experience within a government institution (central/local government or regulatory authority)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or regulatory compliance
- Strong professional network within government entities and industry associations
- Excellent strategic thinking and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Expertise in policy analysis and risk management
- Fluency in Kazakh and English languages
