P2P Accountant (Junior/Specialist/Senior)

We at Haleon are looking for P2P Accountants on junior, specialist and senior levels, who is responsible for end-to-end P2P operations for the Kazakhstan market, ensuring accuracy, compliance and performance of processes, while supporting issue resolution, controls and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and oversee P2P processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely resolution of complex issues.

  • Manage backlogs, escalations and old items, ensuring adherence to SLAs and supporting resolution of high-risk cases.

  • Perform and review vendor reconciliations, supporting resolution of complex discrepancies.

  • Lead support for month-end activities, including accruals, GR/IR and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, controls and audit requirements.

  • Act as escalation point for stakeholders and support audits (internal and external).

  • Analyze data, identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.

  • Drive process improvements, support documentation and contribute to standardization.

  • Support controls execution and remediation actions with Risk & Compliance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional qualification is an advantage.

  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in P2P, Accounts Payable or accounting operations, depending on the level of a position.

  • Experience with SAP P2P modules (MM/FI) or similar ERP systems.

  • Experience supporting audits, compliance and complex reconciliations.

  • Experience in structured, cross-functional environments.

  • Ability to analyse data, identify issues and support improvements.

  • English (working), Russian required, Kazakh is an advantage.

  • Experience in Eastern Europe or CIS markets is an advantage.
